Oakville Public Library – new and returning families are welcome – Wednesday April 17th at 6:30pm
Toronto Leaside Memorial – 1st year families ONLY – Tuesday April 30th at 7pm
Ottawa Parkdale United Church – new and returning families are welcome – Friday May 3rd at 8pm

Mandatory Forms: please do your best to complete the forms that apply to you. They can be found here.
- Health Form (for all campers)
- Course Enrolment (for 2 and 4 week campers)
- New Ponackian (for all 1st time campers)
- Parent of a New Ponackian (for all parents of 1st year campers)
- Former Ponackian (for all returning campers)
- Seasoned Ponacka Parent (for all parents of returning campers)
- Airport Form (if your son is traveling to or from camp by air)
The New Ponackian or Former Ponackian form should be completed by your son.
We will be sure to email you if we are missing any information.
TRAVEL BY BUS
At the beginning and end of each month, chartered buses escorted by Ponacka staff, travel between Toronto and camp. There is no bus service in the middle of the month.
The buses load and unload at Toronto French School, 306 Lawrence Ave E, North York, ON
Plan to arrive by 1pm, as the buses WILL depart promptly at 1:30 pm
BUS TRAVEL TO CAMP: Saturday June 29 and Wednesday July 31
1:30pm departure from Toronto French School
BUS TRAVEL FROM CAMP: Friday July 26 and Tuesday August 27
10 am departure from Ponacka to Toronto French School
Arrival in Toronto around 1:30pm (traffic dependent)
The buses arriving back to Toronto may be early, so plan accordingly
VISITORS WEEKEND AT Ponacka
Come see your son in his home away from home!
JULY DATES:
Saturday July 13th or Sunday July 14th
AUGUST DATES:
Saturday August 17th or Sunday August 18th
Please remember to only choose one day to visit.
Saturday Visitors: Parents are encouraged to arrive by noon when their son is still at his second period activity, and easy to find. Most parents will bring a picnic to eat with their son at one of our many picnic tables. Some parents prefer to take their son into Bancroft or Baptiste for ice cream or lunch. Families are welcome to swim at our beach but are responsible for their own lifeguarding. The afternoon program starts at 3pm following rest period and we recommend families depart at that time. Just a reminder to leave your son at his cabin with his counsellor or accompany him to his first activity period of the afternoon. He should not be left alone in the parking lot as you depart.
